Go for it! Parts may be hard to find on this side of the pond, but I imagine there are plenty of clubs / places to buy parts in Europe that would make it easy enough. Ladas are built like tanks...they may not be “great” cars, but there’s got to be a reason there are still so many running round Russia despite some of their ages!
Owner says it would “ressurect” pretty easily too (which I believe) - no harm in looking at it! :D Plus, the rust doesn’t look THAT bad...new rockers and = profit comrade?
